Lifting A Garage With Polyurethane in La Habra Heights
Customer: Danny C.
Why did the customer contact Dalinghaus Construction?
Danny called us back in February about troubles he was having in his home in La Habra Heights. He had converted his garage into an office many years ago. There was a crack throughout the slab that had been getting worse, and worse, over time. He is also noticing new cracks around the door that connected the office to the home. He wanted to make sure the damage wasn’t extending to any other rooms. He found Dalinghaus Construction while researching specialists in the Los Angeles area, and took advantage of our free inspections for homeowners.

What solutions did Dalinghaus Construction provide?
We sent our Project Specialist David Netting to perform an assessment of the home. David found that this home was in need of Polyurethane Concrete Lifting. Our plan was to attempt to raise the slab to Maximum Practical Recovery of the slab utilizing dual-component polyurethane.
Project Manager Richard Whitehead was able to execute this repair plan by doing injections that are accessed through a 5/8″ access hole through the existing slab. To finish, the drilled holes are filled with grout following leveling process.
