Entry Module

First visit came on a Monday and we were able to catch Eric and his crew installing the last of 9 total push piers around the perimeter of the Chino Hills home's foundation. Driving these push piers down to competent, load-bearing soils is a less difficult than helical piers, but it's no easy task. The crew begins be excavating a 3'x3'x3' hole to expose the home's footing. The footing is prepped and made flat to accept a bracket and all of the installation equipment is attached to that singular bracket. They can then begin drtiving down the 2 7/8" diameter steel pipes until they reach competent soils or bedrock... In this case it was about 35' beneath the home's footing.
Today is the BIG day... It's LIFT DAY! The crews hooked up the hydraulic lift equipment and daisy chained it together in preparation for the lift. Over the course of several hours the crew slowly and methodically lifted the home tenths of an inch at a time.
