TIP OF THE DAY #63: PRE DRILLING

Table of Contents

PRE DRILLING

In our October 24th Tip Of The Day, we are on-site with Brian.

Pre-drilling for piles is not always a necessary thing. However, in the case of this project, in Pismo Beach, CA, it is. The Dalinghaus Construction team is out on the job site pre-drilling holes to break through 6-10ft of hard layer so that our helical piles will be much easier to install. These piles will have an approximate depth of 30ft which is required for this project. Heavy machinery is being used to pre-drill these holes.
