HELICAL ANCHOR INSTALLATION
Do you follow us on social media? If not then you may have missed our raw video footage of the perspective of the drive head. Justin recently visited a job site where we are pre-drilling holes for helical anchor installation. Brian, Tony, and Anthony installed a few 8” diameter helical piers to depths averaging nearly 30 feet. Tony operated the Cat mini excavator to pre-drill the helical anchor locations. This was necessary because of the tough hard pan layer about 12 feet below the soils surface. With this pre-drilling, it made the installation of the helical anchors much easier. Some really big equipment was used in this pre-drilling process. The team utilized a Quinn Cat 323 excavator with a Pro-Dig drive head…Talk about BIG!
