Foundation Repairs In Laguna Niguel

Why did customer contact Dalinghaus Construction?

Zach contacted Dalinghaus Construction when he started noticing that the tile in his floor began to sound hollow in a few areas throughout the living room in his beautiful anaheim home. He began googling different causes and learned about the signs of a foundation that may be settling. He found Dalinghaus and scheduled a free foundation inspection with one of our knoledgeable Project Specialists to get an expert’s opinion

What solutions did Dalinghaus Construction provide?

Dalinghaus Construction’s Project Specialist created a repair plan and proposal for Zach while at the inspection. The repair plan consisted of five steel push piers along the wall near his living rtoom and polyurethane injections for void fill. With the foundation meausring 2.2 inches of settling, our production crew started with excavating the push pier locations and cleaning up the footing once exposed. Once the footing was cleaned up the pier brackets were put into place using steel concrete wedge anchors, and the galvanized steel peirs were then ready to be hydrauliccally driven down against the weight of the foundation. Our production crew drives the push piers to load bearing strata, which is often bedrock, but they hit load bearing strata between 30 and 50 feet at each of the five piers locations at Zach’s home. Once the piers were driven the home was lifted to maximum practical recovery and the polyurethane was injected to fill the vodi created between the foundation’s slab and the soils below it. Zach was thrilled with the outcome and happy that he would nolonger have to worry about damages caused to his hoem from the expansive soils it rests on.
