In the past Dalinghaus Tips of the days, we have talked about ICC, ESR and LAR which are a bunch of abbreviations that don’t mean much to you most likely! So we are going to break some of these abbreviations down so you can understand what they mean in terms of the foundation repairs and other repairs that Dalinghaus Construction performs on homes and businesses around Orange County, San Diego County, and Orange County.

International Code Council or ICC

international code council . or ICC

ICC stands for the International Code Council. They are an independent third party that inspects all of the products that we use. This includes products such as epoxy, to screw anchors to the helical anchors we use here at Dalignhaus Construction. The ICC performs capacity tests on all of the products. They are the party that makes sure that each product can take the capacity that it claims to. Another thing that they evaluate is the manufacturer’s plant for each product. They make sure that the plant runs in a way that everything that they produce meets the ICC set of standards. That way you don’t have to take our word for it, you can rest assured that the products that we use will be safe and do exactly what you need them to do for your home or business.

To learn more about the ICC you can visit them on their website. Stay tuned for additional videos and blogs to explain the ESR and LAR! (Till then it is a Mystery!!)
