Customer: Diane P.

City: Westlake Village, CA

Project Consultant: Joe Harris

Project Foreman: James Rodriguez

Engineer: Helfrich and Associates

Why did customer contact Dalinghaus Construction?

Diane had reached out knowing that she had foundation issues with her home. She had already been working with an engineer, and had a report to share with us. Dalinghaus had been highly recommended to Diane by a neighbor of hers in Westlake Village that had worked with us in the past.

What solutions did Dalinghaus Construction provide?

Our Project Consultant, Joe Harris met Diane at her home. He started by completing an elevation reading of the home. His findings showed a 1 inch drop on one side of the home. With the help of the engineers at Helfrich and Associates, Joe presented a repair plan that consisted of placing 10 push piers, 1 helical pier, 125 square feet of polyurethane void fill, and 2 areas of concrete replacement. Diane opted to move forward with the foundation repair.

Project Foreman, James Rodriguez, and his crew were able to complete this project in 2 weeks. The crew began by excavating the pier locations, and prepping the footings for pier brackets. The piers were installed, and lifted into place. Once the inspector signed off on the permit, the crew was able to backfill the areas, and replace the concrete at the pier locations.
