SHRINKAGE CRACKS

In our blog from September 13th, Brian talks a bit more about shrinkage cracks.

Shrinkage cracks occur when the concrete is cured incorrectly or too quickly. For example, if the surface of the concrete dries much more quickly than the inner layer of the slab, shrinkage cracks will occur. These cracks are probably the most common reason for early cracking of a concrete slab.
