Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for www.dalinghausconstruction.com and applies solely to information collected by this website. The website is operated by Dalinghaus Construction, Inc., DBA Dalinghaus Foundation Repair ("we," "us," or "our"). This notice tells you what personally identifiable information we collect, how it is used, and what choices you have regarding your data.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We collect the information you give us through our forms, by phone, by text message and in our chat window, and the services listed under Cookies and Tracking below collect information about your visit.
We use the information you give us to respond to your request, schedule and provide the services you ask for, and follow up about your project. We share it with the companies that help us do that, such as our phone, chat, email delivery and customer management providers, and the advertising and analytics services listed under Cookies and Tracking receive information about your visit.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do any of the following by calling us at (877) 360-9227 or by using the form on our Contact Us page:
- See what data we have about you, if any.
- Change or correct any data we have about you.
- Have us delete any data we have about you.
- Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon in your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the web page address.
We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers and servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Third-Party Links
From time to time, this website may include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse those sites. We have no responsibility for the content of any linked website.
Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of the United States of America and the State of California.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. A cookie is a small file placed on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you do not accept cookies, some parts of our site may not function as intended.
We may also use web beacons and similar tracking technologies to help us understand how visitors use our site. For example, we may measure the popularity of certain pages and verify system and server integrity.
The services below run on this website. Each one may set cookies or use similar technologies, and may collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the website that sent you here, your IP address, and your browser and device type.
- Google Tag Manager loads several of the services on this list.
- Google Analytics measures how visitors find and use our website.
- Google Ads measures when a visit that started from one of our Google ads leads to a request. When you submit a request form, your email address and phone number may be sent to Google Ads in a hashed form, which Google uses to match the request to the ad.
- Google Maps can suggest matching addresses while you type your street address into our Schedule Your Free Evaluation form. To find those suggestions, what you type in that field is sent to Google before you submit the form.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our pages. Your browser loads them from Google when you view our pages.
- Meta Pixel records page views for advertising on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Microsoft Advertising (the UET tag) records page views for advertising on Microsoft platforms such as Bing.
- Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, to help us improve the website.
- OpenAI Ads (the OpenAI measurement pixel) records when a visit leads to a request, to measure our advertising with OpenAI.
- CallRail tracks phone calls. It may show you a phone number that depends on how you reached our website, so we can tell which source led to your call. When you submit a request for an evaluation or a commercial inquiry, CallRail also receives the details you entered, so the request is recorded with that source.
- Podium runs the chat window. Messages and contact details you type into the chat go to Podium, which delivers them to our team.
- Trustindex displays our Google reviews.
- YouTube hosts the videos on our website. A video's preview image may load from YouTube, and the video itself loads from YouTube when you press play.
When you submit any form on our website, an email delivery service delivers it to our team and sends any confirmation email to you, and the details are added to the customer management systems our team uses to follow up.
Text Messages (SMS)
If you check the text-message consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Dalinghaus Foundation Repair about your inquiry, your evaluation, and your project. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell your phone number or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
The text message consent box on our job application is optional. If you check it, you agree to receive text messages from Dalinghaus Foundation Repair about your application, on the same terms: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Call Recording
Calls to and from Dalinghaus Foundation Repair may be recorded and monitored for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. Where the law requires, you will hear a disclosure at the start of the call, and by continuing the call you consent to the recording. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell the team member and we will assist you another way, or reach us by the contact form instead.
Notice at Collection for California Residents
If you are a California resident, this section supplements the rest of this privacy policy under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
When you submit one of our website forms, for example a request for a free evaluation, we collect the following personal information directly from you: your name, email address, phone number, street address, and the details of your message, along with any consent choices you make, such as agreeing to receive text messages or emails from us. We collect this information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and provide the services you request, follow up about your project, and, where you have consented, to send you text messages or emails about your inquiry, evaluation, or project.
Our evaluation request forms also ask about the property, such as its foundation type and whether it is part of a real estate transaction. Our commercial inquiry form also asks for your company name and lets you upload up to three photos. Each request form also sends us how you arrived at our website for that visit, such as the search engine, ad, or link that brought you, and the page you sent it from.
We retain this information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide the requested services, and satisfy our legal, accounting, and business record keeping obligations, and we delete or de-identify it after that need has passed.
When you visit our website, the services listed under Cookies and Tracking above also collect information about your device and your visit, as described there.
Job applicants. When you apply for a job through our careers page, we collect the information the application asks for: your name, street address, phone numbers, and email address; the position you are applying for, the date you can start, the hours, shifts, and status you want, and the salary you want; whether you have a relationship to any current employee, and if so their name, relationship to you, and position; your education; your special skills; your work history, including each employer's name, address, and phone number, your supervisor's name, your job title, dates, duties, and reason for leaving; the names, addresses, phone numbers, and relationship to you of up to three references; whether you can perform the essential functions of the job; whether we may contact your present employer; your text message choice; and your agreement to the authorization and certification statements on the application. We use this information to consider your application for employment and to contact you about it. We keep it for as long as needed to consider your application and to satisfy our legal and record keeping obligations.
We use advertising and analytics tools from Google, Meta, Microsoft and OpenAI that collect information about your visit, as described under Cookies and Tracking. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this may be considered selling or sharing personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described below.
Your California Privacy Rights
Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, and request the specific pieces and categories of that information.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. To opt out, call us or use our contact form, as described below.
- Limit the use of any sensitive personal information you provide to what is necessary to provide the services you request. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would require offering this limitation beyond what we already practice.
- Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised a California privacy right.
How to Submit a Privacy Rights Request
You can submit a request to know, delete, correct, opt out, or limit the use of sensitive personal information in either of these ways:
- Call us at (877) 360-9227.
- Submit the form on our Contact Us page.
We do not yet have a dedicated privacy request email address, so please use the phone number or contact form above.
To protect your information, we will verify your identity before completing a request. Depending on the request, we may ask you to confirm details such as your name, phone number, email address, or mailing address so we can match them against the records we hold, and we may ask follow up questions if we cannot verify your identity with a reasonable degree of certainty. We will not complete a request we cannot verify.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. To do so, the agent should contact us using the methods above and provide written proof that you have authorized them to act on your behalf. We may still require you to verify your own identity directly with us, or confirm the authorization directly, before we complete the request.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting to the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated.
