7 Common Foundation Repair Payment Questions

Despite the title, these payment questions apply to all of our repair services: retaining walls, polyurethane deep injection, crawlspace jacks, and so on.

So, without further ado, here is a list of 7 common questions we receive on a regular basis regarding our payment process.

1. Can we pay by credit card?

Absolutely. Put those points to work for you. We accept all major credit cards including VisaMasterCardDiscoverAmerican Express.

2. Is there a credit card fee?

3% fee is enforced for all credit card payments.

3. Can we bill escrow?

Possibly – if arrangements are made ahead of time, we are happy to work with your escrow company for payment.

4. Will I be getting a receipt?

You can view all invoices and payments in your Buildertrend portal.  A job summary can also be sent to you upon request that will show all invoices and payments in one document.

5. Why did I receive a preliminary notice?

You received a preliminary notice because preliminary notices cover who, exactly, is performing work on a job site. This is especially important when projects require a joint effort between two separate parties. Preliminary notices also make it easier to understand how payments make their way down the payment chain.

And if a preliminary notice is not sent, the sending party could potentially lose rights directly to recouping compensation. In short, sending the preliminary notice is a kind of insurance policy to ensure we are paid.

6. Can you provide a W9 and COI?

Yes, Dalinghaus can provide a W9 as well as a Certificate of Insurance with additional insured endorsement.

7. Why is my ACH payment still pending?

When paying by ACH, often micro deposit verification is required prior to the payment finalization.
