Let’s unpack this Press Release in all of its guts, glam, and glory. During the warranty period, if it is demonstrated that there is a new/recurrent foundation settlement, a representative of Dalinghaus Construction, Inc. will meet with the homeowner to determine cause.
If it is determined that the Push Pier, Helical Pier, or Helical Tieback failure was caused by defects in the quality of the manufacturing material or workmanship, Dalinghaus Construction Inc. will furnish replacement materials and additional labor to the homeowner for no additional cost where the corrective measures were performed.
We put it in red and bolded it because we like that shale, a lot. It should bring you peace of mind and peace of heart.
The warranty used to be a 25-year warranty, but here at Dalinghaus Construction, Inc. we always step it up a notch, kick it into high gear, go hard because there is no going home.
That’s what our core values are all about.
Please note – this warranty is limited to the area in which Dalinghaus Construction, Inc. was contracted to perform pier installation.
It does not include any additional areas of the home that may be experiencing movement.
For example, if you put in a granny flat in your backyard and that bad boy begins to sink, we here at Dalinghaus Construction don’t think it’s really fair to hold us liable for a project we never even touched.
You know the phrase if you break it, you buy it?
Well, if we didn’t fix it in the first place, it’s not covered.
Therefore, the warranty does not include any additional areas of the home that may experience movement.
These additional areas would be required to have a new agreement, contractual obligation between the homeowner and Dalinghaus Construction, Inc.
But this is pretty much preaching the choir, boys and girls, and friends and neighbors.
The point is this is a lifetime warranty that really has a vampiric lifetime if you think about it, galvanized steel lasts for eons and eons and eons and will someday be dug up like dinosaur bones long after our boy Elon Musk gets us to Mars.
And, hell yeah, you better believe Dalinghaus Construction Inc. is headed up to that big orange planet too because we never settle.
