Lift a settled slab foundation through a hole the size of a dime.
Expanding polyurethane foam fills the voids that let a house slab drop, then keeps expanding until the slab rides back up, without excavation and without adding weight to soil that already gave up once.
Let's take the first step toward solid ground.
A local specialist will evaluate your foundation, walk you through the findings, and send a clear estimate. No cost, no pressure.
What to know about polyurethane foam injection, and when it's the right call.
Polyurethane foam injection lifts a sunken slab by filling the void beneath it with expanding foam until the concrete rises back to grade. The crew drills small holes through the affected slab, roughly the diameter of a coin, and threads injection ports into them. A heated hose delivers two liquid components that mix at the nozzle and begin reacting within seconds. The mixture flows into the voids under the slab while still liquid, following the empty spaces the way water would, then expands as the reaction takes hold, compacting loose soil outward and filling the void completely. Once the void is full, continued injection has nowhere to push but up, and the slab begins to rise. The crew watches elevations with instruments during the lift and stops at grade rather than guessing. The foam reaches the bulk of its strength quickly, so treated floors generally return to normal use the same day. The ports come out, the holes are patched flush, and the repair all but disappears.
The symptoms that usually lead to polyurethane foam injection are on the foundation repair problem signs page, alongside the other signs that point to the same underlying cause.
How we install polyurethane foam injection.
Free evaluation with elevation measurements
We map floor elevations to find where the slab has dropped and how far, and confirm the settlement is shallow enough for foam. Deep seated soil failure gets steered to slab piers instead, before any holes are drilled.
Radar scan before anything is drilled
Interior work does not start until a ground penetrating radar floor scan is done, and on a post tension slab that scan is required outright. Radar reads the floor from above and reports the thickness of the concrete, the spacing of what is embedded in it, and the depth each one sits at. On a post tension floor that includes the cables squeezing the slab into a stiffer plate, which is exactly what a drill bit has to miss. Scanning is booked at a two hour minimum, at an additional cost where your proposal does not already carry it. Outdoor flatwork is a different job, and concrete leveling for outdoor slabs does not carry the requirement.
Drill and port
Small holes are drilled through the slab at planned points over the voids, and injection ports are set in each one.
Inject and fill
Expanding polyurethane is pumped through the ports, flowing into voids and compacting loose soil beneath the slab until the empty space is gone.
Lift to grade
Continued injection raises the slab while the crew tracks elevations in real time, stopping at the target rather than overshooting.
Patch and verify
Ports are removed, holes are patched flush, and final elevations are compared against the starting map so you can see exactly what came back up.
Lifted back to level. Not torn out.
Expanding foam is injected under a sunken slab through ports the size of a coin. It fills the washed-out soil beneath, then gently floats the concrete back up to the level line. The same slab, saved.

Care and expertise from a team that's been doing this since 2011.
When the fix is polyurethane foam injection, the installer matters as much as the method. Dalinghaus crews handle foundation, concrete, and crawl space work across California, Arizona, and Nevada, and nothing else.
Foundation repair, concrete leveling, and crawl space repair are our entire focus. Not a sideline.
More than 2,000 projects on the clay and desert soils of California, Arizona, and Nevada since 2011.

The cured foam itself is water resistant and does not shrink, wash out, or break down the way soil based fill can. What it cannot do is stop soil from failing deeper than the treated zone, which is why the evaluation matters: foam over stable soil holds, foam over an active deep problem does not, and we will not sell you the first when you have the second.

Carbon Fiber Reinforcement
Carbon fiber straps bond to a stressed foundation wall and refuse to stretch, so the wall that was slowly losing to soil pressure simply stops moving.

Deep Foundation Systems
Deep foundation systems skip the surface soil entirely and stand your structure on strata that stopped moving long ago, with each element proving its capacity as it goes in.

Epoxy & Polyurethane Crack Injection
Epoxy welds a structural crack back into one piece; polyurethane chases water through a wet one and seals it shut. Choosing correctly between them is most of the repair.

Foundation Underpinning
Underpinning does not patch a settling foundation, it reaches underneath and hands the load to soil that stopped moving long before your house was built.

Grout Injection (Chemical Grouting)
Chemical grouting injects grout directly into weak, loose ground, bonding the particles into a soil that can finally carry what sits on it, no excavation required.

Helical Deck Piers
Helical deck piers screw galvanized steel down past the surface clay that heaves and shrinks with the seasons, so your deck stands on ground that has stopped arguing with the weather.
