Sagging Lintel Above Garage Door: diagnosed and explained.

A sagging lintel means the beam carrying the wall above your garage door is failing itself or losing its supports to settlement. A garage door opening is a structural dare: take the widest gap in the house and ask one beam, the lintel, to carry everything above it across the span.
